Shopworker96 I`m going to try to make it. How do we recognise you? What pub will you be in ? Shire will win. Montrose have only scored 7 and we have scored 3 against boring boring Berwick. I will have a carnation in my lapel, and carrying a newspaper. Shire top in Montrose should be a give away. I will send you a pm with my number...confirming pub once I arrive!

when was the last time we beat these guys away....because it seems like a f%$4ing long time to me strumps? Unfortunately Strumps computer has `blown up` so he can`t say much on here just now till he fixes it (probably next week). But I have consulted oracles, stared at the bottom of a grotty `Shire mug and tried to read what chicken entrails (guts) are telling me and I learned the following things: 1) The last time we won at Links Park was 5 years ago 2) I can`t even remember the last time we got a draw up there 3) Our record in Montrose is, frankly, terrible and its about time it was sorted.

Watch out for those chicken entrails - supposed to be dangerous and spread bird flu!

F.T. 3-0. Pretty terrible game for all concerned with `Shire today. Montrose seemed to be winning everything in midfield and as usual up there they hit us on the counter every time we lost the ball - often after one of our attacks had broken down. Up front I can only remember about 3 or so half chances and we never really made space for somebody to have a shot - I would give some credit to Montrose for that though. I felt sorry for Iain Diack today, he was constantly blocked, hastled and fouled to prevent him from doing anything - I think Montrose had decided that if they marked him out of the game we would`nt trouble them and I would say that more or less happened. We know how Montrose play at home and I am dissappointed we have not yet found an effective way to trouble them - I`d settle for being totally boring and play on the counter ourselves if it worked!

Strangely, for the 2nd game in a row, no-one claimed for the 1st scorer - Montrose No 9 - and it was definitely out. As before, you have untill next Saturday (against the Warriors) to collect it or it goes to Mr wellibob!

They lay down like little lambs to the slaughter! Where`s the commitment? You could drive a bus through that defence? especially away from home. Thats my 4th away trip and we`ve lost 17 goals and scored 2. The only remote chance of a result was the STENNY game(6-1) where at 2-1 down we looked as if we might get something. I thought Adam Owen was man of the match,he looks a real find and he was the only one to applaud the fans at the end.The Apres Ski was good though. If only the players would make the same effort as the fans! Proud to be a Shire!

I only have a few things to say about this game. Firstly the camaraderie is second to none. Mad Bill truly is MAD ! and, it was worth waiting for....... " In the name of Shire,I was born in the name Shire
