Lets hope the park is waterlogged to-morrow. I think we need a rest. We need to play some of the crap teams quickly and get our act back together. I am not a defeatist but Berwick have played 5 away won 5. I know Drummond and some of the diehards will say this is exactly the game we can get something out of but my star sign is Taurus and all I can see is black and white.

Weather could well be a problem on Tuesday - another day of rain is forecast and we could be looking at one of the earliest call-offs for the time of year in ages. Keep your ear to the ground and hopefully we will get news of any pitch inspection early.

shire can draw with berwick 2-2. We always play well in midweek games v berwick. Remember midweek September 1987 and shire winning 2-1 with a cracker of a goal from Tam Ward. Come on Shire . You can do it.
I'm on holiday tomorrow. Who's up for a sesh?
And where's the bra's Sophie.

I thought Sophie had a bra with her on Saturday. She did mention it! Have you got the colouring in things? We`ll be in Behind the Wall about 5.00pm. Im having a quiet match tonight unless we win or draw then I might have a half pint or two!

No luck against Berwick today - if we`re not careful that will be carved on our tombstones. I don`t know what is more annoying, playing really well against league leaders Berwick and still losing or playing somebody who was frankly rubbish on the day (Elgin) and playing crap, when a quarter of todays performance would have won us that game. Thought we had a good compact shape, did`nt let them get it all their own way and made and missed a few chances along the way. A pity we could`nt hold out in the 2nd half, I certainly thought we deserved a draw, but lesson No 1 in the school of life is you don`t always get what you deserve. In the 2nd half when a challenge was made on our man in the box from behind did anyone else think that was a very good case for a penalty? I think we did`nt get it `cos Berwick are the league leaders.

Stuart agree with everything you say. This result was a travesty. For all the effort Shire put into this game to get nothing was a disgrace. Just ask the SILENT FOR 50 MINUTES BERWICK FANS. The turning point in this game was when I was warned by a FASCIST STEWARD(probably one of MACKIN`S friends) that I was upsetting the Berwick fans. Nothing was said When they threatened to S**G my daughter after they scored!

Here you ! Less of the sheep comments, as Im in Aberdeen! From the report I read in the Press and Journal, the Shire gave a good account of themselves. Shame we could not have held onto McGroarty, as a partnership with Diack could have been really good, Just need to remember that a win up in Montrose would be the business, and get us back off the bottom!

No one claimed the 1st scorer on Tuesday night at this game - I checked and it was out there somewhere, Shire No11. I think its probably fair to give you untill Saturday to collect it - after that I give it to wellibob!

Just been on to The Pie and Bovril site and believe it or not. The Stewards were from Berwick!Apparently they had been stealing money from the club at the gate and also manhandling some home supporters in a previous game. Im not surprised, these guys were nutters, although they probably thought I was a nutter! I been going to football matches since 1963 and I have never been warned by a steward or the police about my behaviour. Although I have sometimes had drink confiscated. Proud to be a Shire.
