I could make up a soppy song along the lines of "We love you McGrillen" I see the target of your singing did well again tonight in the CIS!

Fordy I am aware McGrillen is a fairly good 3rd division player in his prime. It was only a wind up and we got to him!

It is now 8 days since the nightmare calpse in the 'bottom game and finally I can brave the internet (still have to look at pie & bovril).
1 year on from the 6-0 disaster at Ochilview and our team has improved massively, so what happens ? Nightmare. Of all the teams to go to pieces against. Just what has the universe got against the Shire ?
The picture of Shire local favourite, Scott Livingstone, in the Sunday papers looking crest fallen after the 1st goal went in summed the day up. Shire fans knew we were in for a very hard game but....... F**kirk !
Still, it's now September (and my birthday today !) and we have some big winnable games coming up this month. I, for one, think the Ochilview nightmare was just a blip and I'm confident that we will do rather well this month. PLEASE SHIRE prove me right. I don't want to do into internet hiding again.

Happy Birthday for yesterday! Happy to buy you a pint or three pre-game in the Gordon Lounge. I know we should promote 'responsible drinking' but what the hell its not everyday we play Grangemouth United!
