Suggested train times
Glasgow Central 10.05 Carlisle 11.21
Carisle 19.39 Glasgow Central 20.59
Weirdly Scotrail say you can buy a cheapday return for the above for $15 (lost the pound sign on my computer) but you can by a supadvance return of $27.
Probably best to check it out yourself. See you Sat.
ps DON'T BE SILLY AT TURN UP AT THE TRAIN STATION ON SAT. AND BUY A RETURN TICKET THROUGH TO GRETNA. It will cost the earth , $35 plus.

8 bloody 1. Never mnd the game, where were all the shire fans at todays game. Probably more goals than shire fans at game Ok,there was around 13 english fans who were from wigan etc at the shire end supporting the shire (cult status apparently in there area) As there was very few fans on view, they deserved to be named and shamed
Dodger (all the way from Sellafield. Brought a radiance to the game) Strumps Dead Brian Bus Brian (sporting a new haircut and very annoying shouting) wellibob Shuggie Russell sharp Russell sharps neebor
Liz ure & squeek (dels maw and bro)
and thats all - 8 in total
Where were the rest?
the game - Shire looked good for 1st 20 mins. went 1-0 up (amazingly) Ure goal. Pass from Harvey Gretna decided to attack on wings. Shire forgot to defend crosses or tackle. Gretna scored 8 goals. Shire brought on Scott Findlay. 10 mins to go) He was straight thru on goal with no defenders around him (5 mins to go). He got stage fright, scuffed a shot wide at 0mph from 25 yrd. I think someone must have tied his laces together as he couldn;t run towards goal. £2 for a prog. KO 15 min late due to awaiting travelling away fans by road (3 of us)
strumps etc were in Carlisle at 11am and still arrive din Gretna after 3pm. Bus & dead got ejected from home end by stewards. Phoned Aussie to tell him shire were 1-0 up. Hope he didn;t stay glued to radio to get final score. 9 goalss for £7 entrance fee. value for money But once again, where were the rest of the away fans. Poor show lads. Hope for better turnout at Elgin

So what that I’ve seen the Shire play 1000 times. Saw what that I’ve seen nearly every game the Shire have paying in the last 20 years, reserves and youths included. I have to give more.
So I give and give and give and give. 25% of my wages I give. But it’s not enough. So I give and give and give and give. I push away the woman and the family But it’s not enough. So I give and give and give and give The friends I had become as nothing But it’s not enough. So I give and give and give and give I forgo my health and life passions But it’s not enough. So I give and give and give and give
One day the Shire score So I give and give and give and give But it’s not enough. So I give more. But it’s not enough.
WE ARE SHIRE AND THIS IS WHAT IT IS LIKE TO BE A SHIRE FAN, NOTHING MORE NOTHING LESS.
Today was a Shire day, enough said.
ps or two
Grant Findlay, the miss et al. As wellibob says above, the few of us that made the effort today saw Grant fluff a great chance to score when it was 1-7. It was appreciated that he turned and acknowledge the very few of us the final whistle. We all felt F***kirk but these small moments help.
wellibob point again. Who the F***kirk is going to the away games. Getting seriously pissed off that it is the same few that support the team on the road. Come on, you can do it to!
Now to kill myself again.

maybe the supporters club aren't doing enough to encourage people to get to the games. But then it's bad show when TWO of the 3 committee members of the supporters club fail to show at Gretna. tut tut. Perhaps they should run a bus to Elgin. I'm getting the train anyway. Back to the early 90's strumps when only 3 fans on terracing at away games.

Wellibob, Whilst I may have missed this 9 goal "thriller" one thing did grasp me reading the heartfelt rant. What style of do does mr Bus have. Is it a bouffant or does he now have dreads ?

no they were coventry fans. Typical blunder from a bloody french froggy. If your trying to wind me up, don't bother. It won't work. Anyway, I don't think anymore than 5 coventry people vertured up to dingwall. Want me to name them and all the shire fans who were at dingwall during our winning days

that's only because your were there on the midweek trip that there was only 3 away fans there and you tried to turn us into barbeque chicken.
Game that strumps was arrested. Myself and ross strang only 2 fans in ground
To be honest, I was the only shire supporter to go to EVERY ross county away game.

I think that is still the closest I`ve came to death by chicken whilst driving. P.S. You`ve still not told us details of Bus`s new Haircut. Are you saving it for a poll ?

You should read your e-mails mr wellibob, I was on holiday that weekend and looks like the guys I normally take did`nt make the game
