Loads of travel choices for this one. Think I will be either getting
1) F*****k High 11.13 ; Glasgow Central 12.05; Motherwell 12.26 : Arrive Coatbridge Central 12.36
2) F*****k Grahamston 10.59; Grenfaulds 12.01; Arrive Coatbridge Central 12.08
The 2nd option is faster by 6 mins but you do have to kill 43 mins in Greenfaulds. Convince me we can do this and I will (will save me walking up the hill to the High) !
Return details are available on request.

Yards phone me on Thursday. He told me that McAllister had told him on Wed. he was dropped for the game against Hibs to save him for the Shire!
Take from that what you want.

3-3, what a strange game, and that is in addition to it being our 1st point of the season and our 1st away point since the 3-4 Queens Park game on the 16th Jan 2003!
The 1st half unexpectedly developed into a succession of both sets of players running at each other, appearing in each others box and having a shot, over and over again! All the spectators watched amazed as goals rained in within the 1st 30 mins, a mixture of good purposeful attacking runs and some not very decisive defending. In the 2nd half both teams had obviously adjusted their play to stop people running through them so easily but several chances did appear and there really should have been more goals by both sides. While the football may have been a bit `messy` I could watch this lots of times if it ment getting the odd result. Only one gripe, when we tackled a player at least half the time he managed to shield the ball and get up to play again - when we tackle a player, he should STAY tackled, if you get my meaning. Overall though it was good to see the team up for it, able to attack and have a right go AND actually come away from the game with something. Good to finally get off the mark, many people were getting worried, now we need to get that type of performance into other games starting next week.

turncoat. You were the one, who in numerous posts, wanted to play for 0-0 draws and be very boring as long as we got a point. I remember the post we argued for ages over which tactic we should play. I voted for all out attack. you went for boring. SO WHO WAS RIGHT?

I voted for all out attack. you went for boring. SO WHO WAS RIGHT? Rubbish! I said we should do what works, EVEN IF it meant us being boring - I really don`t care what we do as long as it works. I thought that our wing play stood out yesterday and brought us into the game by creating chances for us, something that has not been happening recently.

quotes from strumps in the 1st half
"that's not Gilpin in goals. It's Mitchell" " Paul Ross scored that goal"
and I thought I was te worst at recognising players. Sober up Strumps.

Great result considering what happened in the Queens Park game. Where was Jamie Dunbar on Saturday? Did they get a bonus from Littlewoods?

Gull's right. Littlewoods are paying bonuses for every point gained (win or draw) and for every cup win or draw. Can't give you details, but all 16 players on the teamsheet qualify for the bonuses.
We're hoping the first payouts for a win will be paid out on Saturday.
