To quote an oft heard, but not much this season, expression from Ramz I thought it a reasonable performance. Individual error cost us the first goal when Jordan Leishman lost the ball going forward, don't know what game you were at Mr Ramz, allowing Bavidge to breakthrough and score. Very poor marking lost us the second. Stephen Oates was an absolute standout in this game against big strong attackers who've run riot against us in the past. He has shown good progress this season which says a lot for his character and it is unlikely we will be able to keep him for next season but he would definitely be worth building a defence around. We were very powder puff up front though.

What's with these fans who just want to have a go at players? Some of these guys attend most home and away games. What is the point? Why is Graeme McGhee being singled out for attention? I don't try to pretend that he is having anything but a pretty torrid time of it but he is there every week doing what he can and we have nobody to replace him with. I realise it is almost impossible to be positive about anything Shire at this time but singling out players for abuse doesn't help in any way whatever.

What's with these fans who just want to have a go at players? Would agree with you that at times it gets out of hand - not good. It is no help/support to our team at all. On another depressing note yesterday's failure to keep a clean sheet means that we have now gone 61 league games without one since the memorable 2-0 win at Hampden on 14/9/02. Another club record alas. Luckily I have no idea what the British record and I have no intention of doing the stats research to find out.

definately agree with the point that singling out of players for abuse is wrong. I know i've been guilty of it at one game this season (Cowden) and know I was out of order. Apologise to all corncerned. The singling out of Mcgee is wrong. I also heard fans having a go at Kelly yesterday. The abuse I though was only coming from Home only shire fans until it was kindly pointed out to me by Varis that most of these people also go to ALL our away games. There is also one in our mists. BUS. Stop behaving like a premier league fan and getting on to players. Get behind the team or we'll tell your fiancee at Montrose

Yesterday's performance was similar to the 2 previous ones; we didn't get overrun but rarely looked like taking something from the match. Agree that Oates was our man of the match by a mile. Have to admit that I thought he was a bit of a liability last season, but since coming back from injury this season he's been excellent. I'm another that doesn't understand why fans choose to take their frustrations out on certain individuals. Yes there are some players who are not up to the required standard but giving them stick will only lower their confidence. Us away fans just have to continue to do our bit to get behind the lads, especially on the away trips. Sure there will be plenty of vocal support at Montrose .
