Final score 5-1. Overall the score flattered them a bit (beforehand I would have been happy with a point) but we totally lost our way in this game due to terrible defending, losing the goal in the first minute was nothing short of criminal. After that we were always going to struggle, although to be fair to Cowden they look a very good side with plenty of pace up front - I think on this form they will definately feature in the play-offs come May. Back to us, apart from missing a fair few chances up front (which we have done for the last 3 games) the team actually played reasonably well. The players we have in defence need to concentrate more and NOT take any risks, if they can`t see a pass with a forward bearing down on them its ok with the fans if they simply boot it upfield. More than once a Cowden forward tackled a defender, came away with the ball and found himself 1 on 1 with the keeper - don`t do it!
There was some interesting entertainment provided for both sets of fans in the shape of `mad Bill` and his cabaret act which helped lighten the rather gloomy mood at Central Park! Hats off to him (and his daughter!) for travelling to more away games this season.

Agreed! The goals are being given away rather easily off late. I can`t pin down exactly whats wrong maybe we need Paul Gaughan back to steady the ship? The lads at the back are quite young maybe they need a bit of guidance.
