For no particular reason this slipped my mind when I got home tonight until I looked at the Pie site. I had been waiting for weeks for this day as well.
Well it's an away trip and a likely free Saturday in December so it could be a lot worse. I will, of course, do my best to enjoy myself way out west (on our BEST behavour ... you know what I mean).

I've mentioned this on another thread, but what the hell...
If there's enough interest, Littlewoods Pools will lay on free coach travel to the Morton game and back.
How many would be interested?

Littlewood another fine gesture. I`ll attend and maybe bring 1/2 of my daughters. I`m sure some of the fans who drink in the Gordon Lounge would be interested.

I have been in touch with Littlewoods and they are happy to run a bus for the supporters to the Scottish cup game at Greenock Morton. I have suggested (and they agreed) that the Supporters Club should gather names (and thus, numbers) this weekend of those wishing to travel so that the bus is not overrun by `johny come latelys` and that the regular fans have the chance to come on the bus. Either leave a phone message, e-mail me or leave a message here (privately or otherwise) if you want your name to be forwarded to Littlewoods to go on the bus. DO NOT put your name down if you are only 50/50 sure you `can` go, I don`t want a large space on this bus made by people who did not turn up or cancelled late - if you are not sure - LEAVE ROOM FOR OTHERS, be sensible about taking this bus. Of course, you don`t have to be too sensible once you are on!

Well I'm gonna make the effort and make it to the biggest game of the season. Being realistic anything other than a drubbing will be a decent result although surely we must be due a decent performance in the Scottish Cup?
Can't believe you're not making it wellibob. Out of all the games to miss...

After all my moaning and my after the game terracing search at Elgin for another lost scarf my new one has arrived in the post today and I can now go the Cup game.
Come on Shire, get your act together and start selling some Shire goodies.
Side note - I am now getting to wellibob's levels of losing scarfs (although his purple patch was 10 years ago), I have gone through 6 in the last year. This has to stop. I have picked up an old Shire badge but am loathed to pin it to the scarf as I'm just as well putting it in the bin !
