Would it be fair to say that we are now a team to respect - Berwick edged us, as did Cowdenbeath - but this is a true reflection of the team. Even Jeff Stelling was catching flies!!
Play up you 'Shire

Superb result. Congrats to Dennis and the boys. Great to see us up to the dizzy heights of 6th. Maybe if we can get a bit of confidence going we can avoid being the whipping boys of the 3rd division this sesaon.

A win in August against a side expected to be in the promotion frame! Shooting up to the middle of the table like a rocket! What a great result and performance today - well done to Dennis and all the players, you have made a lot of people happy tonight! What really pleased me was we showed real hunger to win the game today and we definately wanted it more than the Arbroath players.
What a great engine Scott Livingstone has - he seemed to be involved everywhere, Jackson in goal dealt with things calmly, Paul Gaughan looked assured even though not 100% fit, big Carl `shaggy` was obviously struggling for fitness but soldiered on bravely, Derek Ure appeared in defence, the wing and up front and put in a good shift for us, Ally Graham stuck to his task and dug out chances - I was pleased to see him score our 3rd with his feet showing good awareness in a `stramash` and well done to Iain Diack for putting his 2 goals away clinically and putting in some work when we did`nt have the ball - keep doing this and some people are going to have to eat their words about his work ethic!
We did`nt have a failure in the team today - those that I`ve seen have better games got stuck in and worked hard for the team - absolutely brilliant to see.

For those worried about Derek Jacksons apparent back injury for which he was subbed in the 2nd half - I am reliably informed that its nothing too serious although he may not be playing in our midweek Stirlingshire cup tie at Dumbarton as a precaution.

I can only agree with everything Ramz has posted. I cannot remember when I enjoyed a victory pint quite as much! Great credit all round. Well done Dennis and the troops. (Can we have some more........ please!)

Magnificient performance and the guys all worked their socks off! If Littlewood is listening apparently the £50.00 win bonus is not on this season. Is this true?
