The best laid schemes comes to mind.
Yesterday I set out with wife from Lossie, in a hail shower, headed for Aberdeen where she would go shopping and I would take the train to Montrose for the game. After the game and a few sherbets we'd meet up again, take in a film and stay in a decent hotel before winding our way back home today.
We fought our way bravely through severe snow and extremely tricky roads to Aberdeen where the weather was beautiful and I had no doubts as to the game being on.
At the insistence of the missus I texted Dodger to be told the game was off. Shock horror I had to spend the afternoon shopping in Aberdeen.
It's just not fair.
See you all in Peterhead.
