Can The New Revitalised Shire beat the Fifers this Saturday? Yes we can if we play the same way we did the last 2 games. After all East Fife are not exactly a goal machine as they have scored 3 less than The Mighty Shire. Hope all the lads are fit after their exertions especially Mark Tyrell who`s a dynamo.

Check this week's F*****k Herald for details of half-price entry for the East Fife game - to mark the fact we've won two in a rw for the first time in almost three years.

Littlewood thank you for another generous offer. Lets hope there`s a good turnout the team certainly deserve it after their recent superb efforts. You will certainly be missed if you withdraw your sponsorship next season.

Just a word of warning for tomorrow - check that the game is actually on before you venture towards the ground. I have been told that the pitch is in a hell of a state (due to Tuesday nights monsoon) - whether the game goes ahead or not depends on conditions tonight and tomorrow. There will be a pitch inspection some time in the morning (not sure exactly when).

Check this week's F*****k Herald for details of half-price entry for the East Fife game As I approached the turnstile today I was informed I could only take up this generous offer if I could produce "the voucher fae the herald" . As I turned to make my way towards the convenience store at the end of the road to purchase said publication. (£4 saving for a 2 minute walk) I was met with pockets of people all crowding round their copies of The F*****k Herald furiously searching for their "Golden Ticket" to no avail. As the referee blew to start the game a section of this frustrated crowd decided to cut their losses and pay the full £8 demanded. A copy of a F*****k Herald was requested by a club official , then after numerous calls between the stewards and club officials it was decreed to let the patient masses (20-30) in for the aforementioned £4 . As word spread that this was not an elaborate hoax , but a genuine mistake the hoardes descended upon the young turnstile attendants demanding their £4 back as they had all paid full entry. The half time announcer told us that was not the fault of Littlewoods , turnstile operators or the club , but the F*****k Herald who had not included the voucher with the article. What one finds unacceptable , but not surprising is the fact that since Thursday morning no club official noticed the "missing voucher" within the local publication . To act sooner would have caused a lot less hassle towards stewards and turnstile operators and could have kept the goodwill that would usually be reserved for such a generous act by our sponsors.

Yyyyeeeessssss!!!! Fan-bloody-tastic!! Another perfect Queensland Sunday morning has just become even better! Fair dinkum, I must have woken any of the neighbours for 3 streets or more who were enjoying a morning sleep-in with my reaction to this result, as well as scaring the birds out of the tree outside my lounge room window. Well done to the players, manager and coaching staff. Three in a row!! Who would have thought it was possible? My only regret is not being there to see it, but I'm now looking forward more than ever to the last game of the season. Go the Shirey-bloody-Pirey!!! ;D

I find it difficult to believe. Well done Shire and well done to Dennis and Greg for sticking in there. We can all start to believe that maybe things can get better. What do we aim for now?

Maybe not quite as good a performance as the previous 2 but who cares some of the lads were out on their feet at the end. Considering we were without Greg,Oatsie and one of the Tyrell`s and Graham McGhee was playing this was another tremendous performance. 22 points this season and 21 total the last 2. What a team! Dennis could get manager of the month again he certainly deserves it. Pity we couldn`t keep McGroarty on this form we could be in the top half of the league next season. Hampden next a fitting place for 4 in a row. When did this last happen all you statisticians out there.
