As you may know Littlewoods have generously laid on a couple of busses to take `Shire supporters to the Scottish Cup 1st round game with Greenock Morton at Cappielaw Park. I`m afraid I have been put in charge of the travel arrangements for the day as no-one from Littlewoods can make the game.
The busses will leave from the Gordon Lounge (Thornhill Road, F*****k) at 1.00pm. People who are late will be given the usual 5 mins grace to show up, after which the bus will leave without them. Those who have given their names to me will be given priority for a bus seat (although I believe there will be enough room for all) after that seats on the busses will be given out on a first come, first served basis. May I remind you that drink is not allowed on busses and given what happened on our last visit to Greenock in the 2003/04 season I advise that no-one should swear at (or around) any policemen that are present, reguardless of the circumstances.
`Shire fans traditionally like to enjoy other towns hospitality at away games but in view of the Rangers-Celtic game being played that day (K.O. 12.30pm) I think it is advisable to come straight back on to the bus after the game and return to F*****k before having any after match `refreshments`. The busses will therefore leave Cappielaw Park at 5.00pm (earlier if everyone returns before then). latecommers will be left to make their own travel arrangements home - and don`t think I will `never leave without you`, I`ve done it before and I`m too old and cynical to put up with any nonsense - you have been warned!
