Our new trialist is Johnny Walker who came on late in the last 2 games. One of the papers reports that he was sacked from Hamilton Accies for failing a drugs test last year but is now playing with us to get `another chance` at football. I welcome Johnny and hope he does well with us, whatever he has done in the past it seems right somehow that he should come to the `Shire and show us what he can do. Even if he moves on after a while that is ok by me as long as he does the business for us while here. I am pleased the manager has managed to get another older (about 29?) more experienced player who will be usefull to us as the season progresses.

I thought he did well in the 12 mins he got v Cowden. Can't remember him coming on at Elgin at the death but I didn't care by then anyway.
Nothing wrong with getting experienced players who have played at a higher level into the squad.
