Donaldson is away so is Greg Denham which is a pity. Is he staying on as player coach? McGhee has gone which should save us about 20 goals next season.

I don't understand how Greg can be away and stay as player coach.

My information is that Greg Denham has left the club and, regretably, will not be here in any capacity as I get the impression he has something fixed up for next season elsewhere. I believe I know the reason he felt he had to leave the club but cannot say at the moment as it would break a confidence - I am sure it will eventually come out some time in the near future. I just want to thank Greg for his efforts this season - as part of the management that got some better players in and brought results closer to a margin of respectability AND as a player who`s appearances were restricted by fitness but certainly contributed in those games he did feature in. I am sure the rest of the `Shire fans appreciate his contribution to our club and wish him all the best for whatever future position he takes on.

Ramz completely agree with what you say. Lets face it we should be grateful for small mercies if Greg had ever been fit he would never have played for The Shire in the first place as he is at least a first division player. However we can always remember his performances in the 9 points in 8 days extravaganza. Hope he does well wherever he goes as long as it`s not Stenny who look as if they need a decent centre-half.
