Game is definitely off - not too surprising really, its been so cold the past couple of days the grounds never really thawed out.

Well folks, this was a game of 2 halves - we were put to the sword in the 1st half and in the 2nd we got a lot more of the ball and managed a good few attacks. However don`t be fooled by an apparent 2nd half improvement, you simply can`t disguise the fact that Rovers were scoring goals for fun against a disorganised and uncompetitive Shire rearguard in the 1st half - after this Rovers had the game won and simply did`nt need to push things, Shire had the lions share of posession but could only score 1 goal and lose a further 1 to a late lob over the keeper. This game looked lost when Rovers scored first - the ball was played high to Yardley who rose above everyone else to head it accurately into the net, no defender had the height or ability to interfere with the giant striker. To lose 5-1 to anybody is bad, to lose 5-1 to Rovers who are not half the team they were last season (with all due respect) and did`nt seem to need to work too hard to do it cannot be acceptable to any Shire fan. There was some harsh words said among the supporters present about the manager and some of our players capabilities and attitudes - if things go wrong against Stirling on Saturday (lets face it, as seems likely)I think people will begin voicing these feelings.

Tired and need to get up early so all I will say at this time is that the last two games have been rank bad. If the Directors are not planning to talk about the melt down which is happening on the playing side then they should do so asap.
But we all know the board don't give a F**kirk and will either pretend nothing is happening or worst not know that we are absolutely Shire. I mean losing 8 goals v Montrose & Albion in 3 days. Arggghh.
p.s. good to see the hardcore turn up again tonight even knowing that it was going to be tough (once again).
