Members should note there will be a meeting of the Official East Stirlingshire F.C. Supporters Club in the Gordon Lounge on Monday 7th February at 7.30pm.
Among the subjects up for discussion are club finances, suggestions for our final away trip of the season at Gretna and how close we should allow the media to get to supporters on away trips.

last away trip of season to Gretna should be cancelled or boycotted to them buying there way out of league and we should all go to Prague for the weekend to see Bohemians play before they go defunct.
Media can get as close to me on an away trip as long as It's a young blond female. No probs as long as they stick to OUR plans for the train trip day.
Can we also discuss what it would mean to the supporters club if 2 of it;s commitee were to get elected to committee of the trust in leading roles and conflct of interests that may arise from this

One of us (or anybody else) should raise it at the meeting and I`ll make sure it is discussed.

Where does the conflict of interest lie, please?
Both groups seek the best for Shire. One raises funds for its members to enjoy away trips etc and the other raises funds to try to ensure the survival of the Shire.
I just can't see where there is any conflicting interest.

I can't see any of the media, let alone a young blonde lassie, wanting to stick close to Wellibob for much of an away trip. I've done it and it is not a pretty sight. Anyway he usually falls asleep at Elgin.

I tend to agree - but I`m happy to have the matter raised and allow anyone to comment or ask questions at the meeting on Monday.
