When is the next supporters club meeting Ramz. Won't we have to discuss trophies etc? When is the AGM for comittee re-election?

I think there`s enough excitement in the next week or so to keep everybody occupied, we may well have a general Supporters Club meeting after that though to discuss some things, among which will be player trophies. The Supporters Club AGM is normally in May right after the season finishes, members will recieve 28 days notice of the date. Members wishing to be candidates for one of the 3 Office Bearer positions must let the present occupants know 2 or more weeks before the AGM (otherwise they can`t be considered, as per the constitution).

Is that FULL members or sub-ordinate or something members.? Can I raise an item for the agenda for the general meeting. That all supportrers club members wear wooden s.p.o.o.ns on the final away day of the season.

<sigh!> As you well know there is only one class of member at present. As to wearing s.p.o.o.n.s as an item on the agenda - what do you think this is..... the SDMC?!

One thing we should at least talk about during the next meeting is the supporters club stance on approaches by people offering to invest in the club. As everyone knows my opinion is that ANYTHING is better than the current situation in which we have a majority shareholder who is only interested in cashing in on his shares and heading off in to the dusk with his ill gotten gains. Anyone who is prepared to invest in the club, reduce Mackin's influence and MOST IMPORTANTLY take the supporters, maybe in the form of a trust, along with them is certainly worth listening to at least.

Ramz, could we not have a supporters club special non scottish based section of the supporters club for our foreign fans. This could include English / welsh fans as well. What do you think? I can't see them turning up for meetings so voting rights wouldn't be a problem. Plus if the supporters club got enough cash together, we could pay for a trip for one of them. Think of the publicity. Headlines " Shire supporters pay for foriegn supporters trip to see shire get humped"

Interesting idea wellibob, perhaps we should consider what we could offer `Shire fans from abroad for being in a `special branch` of the `Shire Supporters Club. Might be worth raising at the next meeting.
