OK SO WE WIN A GAME TODAY BUT WHAT ABOUT THE ROT THAT IS EATING THE CLUB WITHIN ?
1. CHAIRMAN MACKIN HAS ATTENDED TWO GAMES SINCE NOVEMBER 2004. BOTH WERE THIS SEASON 2. VICE CHAIR MORRISON HAS ATTENDED ONE GAME SINCE NOVEMBER 2004. 3. GROUND SALE HITS SNAG EARLY 2005, SHIRE SHAREHOLDERS ARE KEPT IN THE DARK
ETC
THE MANAGER AND THE STAFF OF THE SHIRE ARE WORKING WONDERS BUT IT DOES NOT HIDE THE FACT THE CURRENT SHIRE SET UP IS JUST A HOUSE OF CARDS. THE SHIRE FAN BASE CANNOT SIT ON THE SIDELINES AT THIS TIME WHIST WATCHING THE SHIRE DIE.
SHIRE IS OUR CLUB NOT THOSE WHO HAVE THE OCCASIONAL INTEREST IN WHAT WE DO. DO YOU THINK MACKIN AND MORRISON BOTHERED TO RAISE A GLASS TO SHIRE'S TRIUMPH TODAY ?
THE END GAME IS HERE NOW. FIGHT FOR YOUR CLUB OR LET IT BE KILLED BY THOSE WHO WOULD DO IT WORST THAN ILL. WE OWE TO ALL THOSE SHIRE PLAYERS AND FANS THAT HAVE COME BEFORE US TO STAND UP NOW.
DON'T LET MACKIN WIN ! WINNING TODAY FELT GOOD, THIS IS WHAT SHIRE SHOULD BE ABOUT. DON'T LET SOMEONE WHO DOESN'T CARE TAKE THIS AWAY FROM US.
125 YEARS AND COUNTING.

What`s the difference between the Travelers camped outside New Bayview & our Glorious Chairman / Vice Chairman ? The travelers have at least seen a 3rd Division game this season !!! . Messrs Mackin & McCabe will have been crying into their thingytails after the Shire getting off the bottom ! ( Thats if they have even bothered to check the score ) Especially after all the bad publicity Shire got the last " Hun " European game when the Sun printed an old Picture of the overgrown Pie hut end ( Rams was wearing his cap to cover up his huge head of long hair ) I wonder how many Directors will be at the " Cup Final " ? Save the Shire Join the trust, rip up the season ticket & pay at the gate instead .

I wholeheartedly agree with most of your comments BUS. It's an outrage that every week we are beaten off the field, with more opposition directors having the good grace to attend than our own........ The F******K game was particularly embaressing......... they outnumbered our directors by 11-3 that night.
BUT Ramz with a huge head of hair........... not since The Shire were in the First division..........

sorry, I aint a regular
can you fill me in on ground sale. I read Ogilvie Homes had bought ground last year, but now it says a snag been hit?
would playing at Grangemouth Sports Stadium be so bad, as long as club name remained as it is?

Someone told me that they are having difficulty getting planning permission. It` would be logical as a last resort to play at The Community Stadium we might have to.Don`t think the Shire fans would object to this. Hopefully they won`t get planning permission,The Shire trust will get really strong or I might win the lottery. PS David Alexander,Councillor is on our side and the ground is in his ward. Its our 125 year anniversary this/next year hopefully we won`t just die.
