I wondered who had the best picture of anyone in a strange place in the world with a Shire top on. I managed to get a Berber (Morocco Mountain guide) to pose with me with a Shire top on the top of Mount Toubal in the Atlas mountains. Whats the best way to post it? There must be plenty of differing places people have been with some form of Shire attire. A friend I walked with was so impressed with the teams status he wants 2 shirts from the Club Shop sending to Stalybridge and on the plane back we where doubly impressed as the Shire had an article in the Mail on Sunday re 'Pointless'. Did it appear in the Scottish version?

There was a photo published in a Brisbane Strikers programme about 1999-2000 or thereabouts of the crowd celebrating a Strikers goal. Among the crowd was yours truly wearing his Shire top...Richmond Park Hotel HOOPED version.

Been thinking about this one a bit more....does a picture in a shire top in an unlikely situation also count???
Back in about 1996/97, a took part in the Daily Record "Scottish Cup" photoshoot. I have a pic of me in Shire strip holding the Scottish Cup!!!! Once in a lifetime opportunity, apart from tonight!!!!!!

Wellibob probably has the record amount of appearaneces but the strangest place is surely still up for grabs. Talking of the Scottish Cup I see we have another trip to Stenny! Fancied a trip to Preston Pans myself!

What about on the front cover of a book? Although the wearer isn't making too much of a song & dance about it...surely he isn't shy? :-)
