Your welcome to come over and look stewart 36, shop will be open shortly before the game and at half time Its a shame the shop does not sell Shire Song Books! The 'Stenny Singer' would love that!

Appologies for dissappointing many Shire fans today - the club shop was unable to open as we had planned. This was because Les was too busy with other matchday tasks to take time out to check out stock for us to take to the shop. I`m sure everyone would understand it`s important to make sure both parties agree on the number of items of stock taken out of the office. If they did not check this to each others satisfaction this would only invite dissagreements - obviously no-one wants that to happen. Now we are aware that Les has very limited time on a Saturday we hope to check out stock well before the next home game on 24th September.

Well good to see my first post will be regarding my old workplace. I worked in the club shop for about 3 years in the late nineties, and Im well aware of the issues running the place had.
I had countless requests (okay maybe 20 or so) for people wanting new shire merchandise, and after asking several times, I got nowhere. I had to end up selling old stock, and at one time football boots!!! Only so many people wanted bundles of photocopied programmes from the early nineties, and from Unibond Premier matches! Crazy..
Anyway, best of luck in the shop! I will be sure to pop by the next time Im down from Aberdeen for a home match!

The only good thing which emerged yesterday was that the Club Shop had a good day under the stewardship of Sandy from Shiretrust. Well done Sandy! The game I do not even want to remember let alone comment on.

Yes, well done Sandy and son John for demonstrating that supporters, through the shiretrust, can be an asset to their club. I understand the shop did brisk business yesterday and its good to see shiretrust actively involved in the running of the club.
