You are in spirit. You've been on the trips mentioned in the book. You just happened to do earlier editions.
Take it your still living well on the other side of the planet ? Who are you watching these days ?

Watched Melbourne Victory up here against Queensland Roar (have you ever heard a worse name in your life for a football club?!) a few weeks ago. We woz robbed! How Archie Thompson could be adjudged to be NOT interfering with play at the Melbourne goal is beyond me :-(

"Pomme" is also French for apple, and I'm not one of them either.

and as another Melbourne Victory (a name surelyas bad as the 'roar) fan can I just say Mr Thompson was clearly wandering back onside to show the ref pictures of his new baby... all permitted actions under FIFA's new 'easy to understand' offside rule.
and Aussie... so its ok to post across the world but not ring your brother?? slacker

He phoned me the other day before going to work (he had been watching the Fulham 1st half v I forget! and was reluctantly dragging himself to work - I was dragging myself to bed).
Strange to be be watching the same game. Second thoughts thats stupid as the kickoff was the same real time ! Do'h

Dear brother, its probably easier to communicate via a Scottish third division football webnutse. See you at Melbourne Victory on Monday. Drinks before the game at the Phoenix?

oh lordy, and now back to the Book Launch topic.....
I am about a third of the way thru book now and think its a tremendous read.
The author seems quite funny and is not dragging things out like other footballing books.
Hope Mark Yardley never reads it - just at Albion Rovers game now (around end of chapter 4).
What was Jim Traynor doing at that match? Why were Daily Record wanting a chief sportswritier to do a piece on lowly Div 3 all of a sudden?
