I'm starting a new thread on this as it told me it feels lonely and left out as nobody is talking to it or about it. As it's club talk, I think the club is a great wee club. Why is there no commercial shop though? I don't want to buy a new style top to wear but I would like one just for a keepsake of the worst season in shire history and it's all down to the stripes. Please someone else talk to me on this lonely page. make it a happy page again.

Has the Shire got a new top? What happened to the Finewood one?

It got old and died.
You have now to turn your head on it's side to recognise the strip we are wearing as a Shire top.

Aussie, I`m afraid we play in (whisper it!), stripes just now. But, as strumps said you just have to tilt your head 90 degrees and it all looks ok.

maybe we can convince the players to lie down while they play.. to maintain their traditional look...and last years form

So the club went back to stripes like when they did in the late 90's. And we all know how well those tops sold. Was it 2 or 3? Bet the new one looks #@&*. It really make me $#%$^& *#@#$# mad. %$#&** hell $#@^ the $%#@&^ @!**^%$. I even prefer the wimbledon ballboy top over #$@%^^ stripes. What a %$&*$# joke.

I've decided that Aussie is a recalcitrant grump. Perhaps we need to develop a Fluorescent pink away strip just to keep him happy

I would thank you scruffy colonial worker type... and you mr 'all too familar with the seamy side of life' to stick to the topic of this thread..... which I believe was how lonely it was and where's the club shop. I would like to buy a replica keepers top in honour of that great shire stalwart George F.O Watson... and perhaps a beret in hoops ANy questions on this post can of course be addressed to Dingotookmybaby Director - Commercial Services Melbourne University Student Union where i will translate them into Latin and file them up my #$%*

I also would like a replica keepers top as Mr G F O Watson was a replica keeper. Does the club shop stock Bridies from seasons gone by? Also were does one get a programme of the U18 Shire v Albion Rovers 3rd round league match of 1973? And if there isnt one will Mr Stats make one up?

I refuse to let Aussie have the last post on any topic in this forum. We must all lift our games and post unrelated gibberish to keep his embarrasing nom de plume from our boards
