Leaving Firs Park are midfielder Alan Moffat (injured earlier in the season and, unfortunately, never really recovered) and Jamie Dunbar (hot stuff & looked a real prospect early on, unfortunately despite having obvious talent his form and his effectiveness simply faded away as the season wore on).
As you may be aware, highly rated Chris McGroarty (ex-Dunfermline) played on the wing for us as a trialist in the Elgin game and showed some nice touches. At the moment it is uncertain if he will remain at Firs Park or not, I understand he has other options to consider. The manager is looking to have 3 trialists play for us soon - Derek Rae (brother of current Rangers player Alex Rae), Paul Tyrell (former Queens Park midfielder) and an unnamed goalkeeper.

I take it this is as much as you know about this subject ? Sigh. Accidents (button pressing ones) happen sometimes.

My post now looks kind of stupid! We'll keep the little incident to ourselves Ramz ?
Good info. though.
Question. What time is the transfer deadline on 31st Jan. ?

Deadline is 5pm
SFA have said when their office closes then that is that. Bit silly given old fiem will likely be scrambling with their pennies at the last minute.
McGroarty would be a tremendous signing for EST.

As you may know by now the `trialist` goalkeeper who has turned out for us against Queens Park and Albion Rovers (and looked pretty solid) is Derek Jackson.
Iain Diack`s loan spell with us is now over and he is now at Arbroath (he scored at the weekend for them in a 2-3 win over Berwick).
Chris McGroarty has now played as many games for us as a trialist as is allowed and must now either sign some kind of deal with us or get a move to another team - watch this space.
